Recently, we met a 3rd Gen Revel owner who came by to have his external regulator updated to fix issues with alternator charging. Whenever we get to see a Revel in person, we like to check out all of the major components to make sure there aren’t other issues. With this particular van, we noticed that the large 320ah Lithionics battery in the garage was not secure at all. 

For any van/RV/home-on-wheels, it’s crucial for all heavy items to be secured to the vehicle. This isn’t just to prevent noisy rattles, it’s an enormous safety issue. If you’re in an accident, large objects can become dangerous projectiles. For electrical components, the everyday bumps that come with driving can also weaken or break wires. 

So, when we saw how unstable this battery was, we used components that come with our 2nd Battery Expansion Kit to secure the battery and reinforce the shelf underneath. Check out the difference!
