I did the alternator/regulator upgrade for our third generation Revel. It was a simple and straightforward installation utilizing basic hand tools. RoamRig communication is very good and I highly recommend them.

My van is back! My 2020 Revel batteries were fading fast, no more was I able to make coffee in the mornings. RoamRig to the rescue! I’ve been waiting to write this review until I actually got to put the new system to the test. I have been on the road for 3 weeks now and have not had to worry about a thing. Hello Aaron and team! I had RR 3 installed in Fall 21 with AutoFX in Tacoma, WA. A full 2+ years later, I am 200% satisfied with the power I never run out of! I'm driving a 2019 Winnebago build on a 2018 MB chassis. Spent 8 wks (never hooked to shore power) this past July and August traveling BC, AK and the wild Yukon. Never an issue. Lance in Las Vegas did a fantastic job!

Just completed the kitchen switch panel for the 21 through 23 Revel. It was super easy to install. The only issue I had was right before I cut into the face board. I said, oh my here I am cutting into a brand new Revel. But it turned out great. The instructions are explicit and super easy to follow. The whole install took me less than an hour.

Had an alternator pulley issue on our Sprinter van..Aaron and his crew fixed it in 30 mins and we were on our way! Especially enjoyed the 4 legged crew members! Highly recommend this business! First class!!

We finally got life squared away and were able to put the Stage 1 Lithium upgrade on our 2020 Revel through an extended boondocking trip. First off, the installation process with Lance and Cecilia in Vegas was awesome. Plenty of communication throughout the process. Lance corrected a few assembly errors in our van build (by Winnebago)...things like missing screws. We bought the van used, so he also informed us that somewhere along the way we had gotten an upgrade to our Rixen heater. Nice to know. The install was very clean and when Lance encountered a failed component when final testing the new system he scrambled to get a replacement with very acceptable delay to make sure the system was fully functioning. Now on the road, we are seeing the increase in battery power we needed for a full day of boondocking activity. We love the power monitoring system and associated app. Helps us a ton to see where the power is going and if necessary change our routine (that hasn't happened so far, as we've had plenty of power for cooking, etc). Zero issues with the system since leaving the shop this spring. We've found the combo of solar and the amount of driving we do (highway time about every other day) are enough to keep the system operating between 80 to 100%. We've never seen the battery charge drop below 80%, so I guess we need to stay parked longer to see how long the batteries last with our usage levels. The main reason for the upgrade was a complete lack of power in the winter. The stock AGM batteries hang under the coach, so are out in the cold with no ability to warm them. Their limited power supply is even more compromised in that scenario, so we're looking forward to putting our Lithium system into use during the coming cold months. With the performance so far, we're expecting a winter where we're able to cook and use our van to it's fullest. Thanks RoamRig...and Lance and Cecilia, of the Vegas team.

I have had the 2022 Revel 5 battery upgrade for about 2 months. Install was seamless from Boulder Nomadic. I used that van on a 5000+ mile trip and everything performed perfectly. Now I never have to worry about power!

Great convenience having the install done at my home in Kalispell, Mt. Work was done efficiently and without issue. We have already had an opportunity to try it out any it has simplified everything. Thank you RoamRig!

I was very skeptical originally given the price, but this got to be one of the best upgrades you can do to your van. Did a ton of research and decided to pull a trigger. So far it's one of the best aftermarket stereos I've ever installed. If you can spend the money on this system do yourself a favor and just do it 😉 I also have a RoamRig battery upgrade and their switch panel for my Revel. Everything is top notch and installation instructions are the best in the game. I've never seen so well developed installation instructions in 20 years of being in car business.

RoamRig completely changes the camping experience for the better. I haven’t plugged into power once since the upgrade two years ago.

Our 2019 Revel’s AGM batteries started showing their age sometime in the 3rd year. As a low power user, we were tempted to just replace the AGM’s but didn’t like the idea of having to do that every 2-3 years. What sold me on the RoamRig System Stage 1: Lithium (obviously), nicely spec’d equipment including the Victron controller, 3K Watt inverter, moving the batteries inside & cleaning up the electrical mess under the van, the complete reorganization of the work under the seat, and finally the upgrade to the black console panel on the wall. We have never come close to using up 420ah of battery (4 batteries). We had the work done at their Connecticut shop and everything went perfectly. It’s truly a set it and forget it system. It’s been about 2 years since we installed and we haven’t regretted it.

Can’t say enough about Aaron and his Roamrig team. We had stage 2 installed in June 2021. Saw such a great boost in power we knew we wanted to move to stage 3 and we did in June of 2022. We have a 2019 Revel on a 2018 chassis with 460 watts of Zamp solar panels on the roof. We never worry about power. We run a microwave, a convection oven, a 50 quart ARB compressor cooler, a nespresso coffee machine along with the Revel’s refrigerator, lights, fans in the summer, hot water when we want it. No worries about wild camping . These folks and their installers really know their product. Great support and customer service too!

Upgraded my 2020 Revel to the Iithium system. After 1.5 years and some hard core winter camping, its all working great! I never even think about power anymore.

It just works! Power to spare, best upgrade for our van. We never even think about plugging in with the RoamRig system.

RoamRig Stage 3 is the best modification that we have made to our Revel. We were one of the first mobile installations in 2021 and Lance Holly did a great job. Stage 3 has exceeded our expectations! I never worry if there is enough power because there is always plenty of power. I do have solar and we travel mainly in the southwest, however we can have days of rain. My dogs stay cool with any necessary AC. No problems - everything always works, and any questions that I have are answered on their website. Product quality is incredible. Install is smooth, seamless and quick and it turns the van into an unstoppable off grid machine. Sound system is the same. Customer service is top notch. The RoamRig power system is the first upgrade I made to my 2019 Revel. Adding 6 lithium batteries has given me piece of mind. It runs everything in the RV house and recharges fast. I got their stage 3 system. It's a game changer for me and my wife. Gone are the days stressing out about battery levels. I took a 10 day 2500 mile trip and the lowest my battery bank got was 82%. With the secondary alternator pumping in 3000 plus watts per hour, I was topped off constantly and running my AC at rest stops all the time. I maybe could have gone for the stage 2 for that past trip, but I look forward to more static camping where the deeper bank is going to come in handy. Thanks gang!

Aaron was awesome answering questions and planning with me. Almost a year with my new system and it works perfectly. Way better than the factory Revel from 2019. The major reason I upgraded was it removed the wiring mess (maybe fire risk) from the Winnebego factory system.

Recently we installed the 3rd battery on our 2021 Revel. It was a DYI installation. The instructions were very thorough, the photos were helpful in confirming placement of certain items. The kit was complete and provide everything you need to complete the job.(except for the tools).

I highly recommend the RoamRig power upgrade for any Winnebago Revel owner.. It transformed my 2019 with AGM legacy batteries and I have had zero issues in 2 years.

This system is amazing. We put in a more efficient A/ C and can run it as long as we need. Recharges from engine. We wouldn’t enjoy our Revel nearly as much without it!!

I have a 2020 Revel that needed a battery upgrade. The 3 deep cycle batteries are very ineffective to say the least, barely enough power for heater over cold nights and most importantly always having to pay attention to the charge, that sucks for overlanding or even traveling! I ended up upgrading my system with Roamrig's 420 amp hour lithium system with dedicated alternator and 3000 watt inverter. What a night and day difference to say the least. No more worrying about the batteries or what I can plug in or not for appliances!!! Roamrig also has a very detailed troubleshooting guide with videos if you need also. Aaron owner at Roamrig, has always answered questions via email or voice message fairly quick also!! I am a full timer and always had to manage my stock power system everyday (pray for sun or put on miles to recharge) The RoamRig has been absolutely flawless from day one. I’ve had the system for 3 years. I live in my van full time including the winter at temperatures way below zero. I have zero issues or concerns with the system. I’ve considered getting rid of my solar panels. They are functionless at this time. Don’t need them. Highly recommend anyone with a van going full time to invest in the system.

I was on the fence a little before I took the leap into purchasing the stage 3 RoamRig Lithium Battery upgrade at first. Well if you are planning on off grid or as much as possible and would like not to run out of power, Dugh!! Look no further!! Aaron has pioneered the complete system that is state of the Art.. We live in our Van full time and have traveled the US and Baja Mexico for 40 plus days. We also have 2 pups that travel with us. Power is everything for cooking, cooling and ease of mind. We never loook at our battery level unless we are in Oregon, or Wa State lol. I had the pleasure to run by RoamRig shop and got a super tune up by Aaron and his crew.. Dog friendly super cool people. Game-changer modification to 2019 Revel for us in many respects. Pricey and probably not for everyone, but worth it for us in light of how we use the van and what is important to us when we travel. It allows us more freedom and versatility, particularly when traveling with pets. Just as important, it is well-designed, works as it is designed to work, and RoamRig has provided good support.
