Regulator Update for 2023 Revels

The stock programming on the 2023 Revel Balmar regulator can introduce some issues that can cause charging trouble.

If you are experiencing these issues, our update can fix it:

• Inconsistent Charging: If your van charges aggressively for a short while and then suddenly halts or reduces the charging rate, requiring a restart to resume charging, our update will correct that.

• Temperature-related Charging Issues: Our update also assists with charging difficulties in hot weather. This is particularly useful if your battery's temperature, as indicated by the Lithionics app, is within the safe charging range (are the numbers not red?), but charging problems persist.

However, it's important to note that the regulator update will NOT solve these issues:

• There's no charge at any given time.
• The regulator doesn't activate when the engine is running.
• The indicated voltage (CV) is significantly lower than the actual battery voltage.

Please keep in mind this regulator reprogramming modification is intended to improve the repeatability and predictability of charging behavior in an otherwise healthy system.

1.  Regulator Update Only - We'll send you a box and a prepaid shipping label to send us your regulator. We'll program the regulator for you and send it back 

2. Regulator Update + 250A Alternator. This alternator has been configured for your reprogrammed regulator. Additionally, we configure the alternator to run at decreased output in order to further enhance the reliability of the system since it will run cooler and with less stress to the parts.

3. New Regulator with Preprogrammed Update - This is a brand new Balmar Max Charge MC-618 with the update pre-applied.

4. New Regulator with Preprogrammed Update + 250A Alternator - This adds the 250A Alternator.
